Traditional Pumpkin Pie Recipe - Cooking Index
1 | Unbaked pastry shell - (9") | |
1 | Pumpkin | |
1 | Eagle brand sweetened milk | |
2 | Eggs | |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Cinnamon - ground |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Ground ginger |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Nutmeg |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
Preheat oven to 425F.
In mixer bowl, combine all ingredients except pastry shell. Mix well. Pour into pastry shell.
Bake 15 minutes. Reduce oven temp. to 350F; bake 35 to 40 minutes longer or until center is set.
Cool.
Garnish as desired.
Refrigerate leftovers.
