Strawberry-Banana Pie Recipe - Cooking Index
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Banana - sliced (medium) |
| 1 | Prepared 9-inch graham cracker crumb - cooled crust | |
| 1 | Strawberry-banana Jell-O gelatin | |
| 2/3 cup | 157ml | Boiling water |
| 1/2 cup | 118ml | Cold water |
| Ice cubes | ||
| 3 1/2 cups | 829ml | Cool-whip topping - thawed |
| 1 cup | 237ml | Sliced strawberries |
Arrange banana slices in bottom of crust. Completely dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
Combine cold water and ice cubes to make 1 1/4 cups. Add to gelatin, stirring until slightly thickened.
Remove any unmelted ice. Using wire whisk, blend in whipped topping; then whip until smooth.
Fold in strawberries. Chill until mixture mounds. Spoon over banana in pie crust. Chill about 2 hours.
Garnish with additional strawberries and banana slices, if desired.
