6 oz | 170g | Cheddar; sharp - cubed |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Milk |
Put the cheddar cheese in the top of a double boiler.
Place over simmering water and stir gently until the cheese begins to melt. Add the milk gradually, while stirring constantly.
Continue to stir constantly until the cheese is melted and the mixture is smooth.
Serve piping hot over warm apple pie.
