Rice Krispie Date Roll Recipe - Cooking Index
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Butter or margarine |
1 cup | 237ml | Finely cut pitted dates |
1 cup | 198g / 7oz | Granulated sugar |
2 | Eggs - (beaten) | |
3 cups | 480g / 16oz | Rice Krispies |
Powdered sugar |
Melt butter or margarine in skillet over LOW heat. then add dates, sugar and eggs. Cook over low heat stirring constantly until mixture forms a ball. (Goes together in pan.)
Cool - then stir in 3 cups rice Krispies. Spread powdered sugar on wax paper and make into rolls. Refrigerate and slice as needed.
