Pineapple Pie Recipe - Cooking Index
Pastry for 2 crust pie | ||
1 cup | 198g / 7oz | Sugar |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Cornstarch |
1 | Crushed pineapple and - juice (2 1/2 cups) |
Mix in saucepan sugar, salt and cornstarch.
Stir in pineapple.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils.
Boil 1 minute.
Pour into pastry lined pie pan.
QUICKLY cover with top crust which has slits cut in it.
Bake at 425F for 25-30 minutes.
