4 cups | 948ml | Peaches - peeled and sliced |
2/3 cup | 41g / 1.4oz | Flour |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Brown sugar - packed |
1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Granulated sugar |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Ground cinnamon |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Flour |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Whole milk |
1/4 cup | 49g / 1.7oz | Butter |
Preheat the oven to 400F.
Combine the peaches, the first measure of flour, the sugar and the cinnamon in a shallow (1 qt.) baking dish.
Combine the second measure of flour and the brown sugar in a mixing bowl.
Cut in the butter using a pastry blender until the mixture is the size of small peas.
Stir in the milk until moistened.
Drop by spoonfuls onto the peaches.
Bake until a toothpick inserted into the crust comes out clean (about 30 minutes).
Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
