Peach Cobbler - 2 Recipe - Cooking Index
1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Unbleached flour |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Orange juice |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Baking powder |
1/2 cup | 164g / 5.8oz | Maple syrup |
1 | Egg | |
3 cups | 711ml | Fresh peaches - sliced |
1 | Or basket of raspberries | |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Butter |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Cream |
Sift together flour and baking powder. Make a well in the center and put in egg and butter; blend well.
Add cream and orange juice, mixing thoroughly.
Blend in maple syrup. Pour batter into lightly oiled 5 x 9- inch loaf pan.
Sprinkle fruit on top.
Bake at 350F for 30 minutes.
