Passover Pastry - 2 Recipe - Cooking Index
6 oz | 170g | Matzo meal - finely ground |
2 oz | 56g | Potato flour |
1 | Salt - - or - | |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Granulated sugar |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Ice water |
4 oz | 113g | Margarine |
Mix together matzo meal, potato flour, salt or sugar (depending on whether you're making a savory or sweet dish).
Rub in margarine until it resembles fine bread crumbs.
Add ice water, a little at a time (you may not need all of it), until it forms a ball.
Wrap in plastic and chill at least 30 minutes before working.
