Old Fashioned Buttermilk Pie Recipe - Cooking Index
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Unsalted butter |
1 1/4 cups | 247g / 8.7oz | Sugar |
3 | Eggs | |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Flour |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Buttermilk |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Vanilla |
1 | Unbaked pie shell |
Preheat oven to 300F.
In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Stir in eggs, flour, buttermilk, and vanilla. Pour into pie shell.
Bake until knife tip comes out clean, about 1 hour and 45 minutes. Cool slightly before serving.
