Oatmeal Pie Recipe - Cooking Index

3/4 cup | 148g / 5.2oz | Sugar |
3/4 cup | 246g / 8.7oz | Dark corn syrup |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | All-purpose flour |
1/4 cup | 49g / 1.7oz | Butter or margarine - melted |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Vanilla |
3/4 cup | 46g / 1.6oz | Quaker oats - uncooked |
(quick or old-fashioned) | ||
1/3 cup | 30g / 1.1oz | Flaked or shredded coconut |
1 | Unbaked pie shell |
Beat eggs until foamy. Gradually add sugar; beat until thick. Stir in remaining ingredients; blend well. Pour into pie shell.
Bake in preheated moderate oven (350F.) about 45 minutes or until center of pie is firm.
Cool.
Serve with sweetened whipped cream, if desired.
