Lemon Chess Pie Recipe - Cooking Index
1 | Unbaked 9-inch pie shell | |
2 cups | 396g / 13oz | Sugar |
1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Butter or margarine |
5 | Eggs | |
1 cup | 237ml | Milk |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Flour |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Cornmeal |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Fresh lemon juice |
3 | Lemons - grated , rind of |
Cream sugar and butter; add eggs and milk. Beat well. Then add flour, cornmeal, lemon juice and lemon rind. Stir until thoroughly incorporated.
Pour mixture into pie shell; bake at 350F until done, 35 to 40 minutes.
