Kentucky Pecan Pie Recipe - Cooking Index
1 cup | 328g / 11oz | White corn syrup |
1 cup | 160g / 5.6oz | Packed dark brown sugar |
1/3 teaspoon | 1.7ml | Salt |
1/3 cup | 65g / 2.3oz | Melted butter |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Vanilla |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Lightly beaten eggs (large) |
1 1/4 cups | 296ml | Shelled whole pecans |
Combine the syrup, sugar, salt, butter and vanilla. Mix well. Add the slightly beaten eggs.
Pour into a 9" unbaked pie shell.
Sprinkle pecans over all.
Bake in a 350F oven for 45 minutes. When cool, top with whipped cream or ice cream. From:
