Green Termater Pie Recipe - Cooking Index
2 cups | 125g / 4.4oz | Chopped green tomatoes |
1/2 cup | 80g / 2.8oz | Brown sugar |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Cider vinegar |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Cinnamon |
1/2 cup | 80g / 2.8oz | Chopped raisins |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Melted butter or margarine |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
3 | Cloves | |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Mace |
Cover tomatoes and boil quickly. Drain, then add other ingredients. Put in pie plate lined with rich pie crust. Put on top crust and slash to let steam escape. Crimp crust edges. Bake from 35 to 40 minutes in hot oven, 375F.
