Graham Wafer Pie Recipe - Cooking Index
1 1/4 cups | 182g / 6.4oz | Graham wafer crumbs |
1/4 cup | 49g / 1.7oz | Sugar |
1/3 cup | 65g / 2.3oz | Margarine |
Filling | ||
1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Sugar |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Cornstarch |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Flour |
2 cups | 474ml | Milk |
2 | Egg yolks slightly beaten | |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Butter |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Vanilla |
mix crumbs, sugar and margarine together, taking out 1/3 cup for top of pie. Press rest against sides and bottom of pie plate & bake at 375F for 8 min.
Filling; In pan blend first four ingredients, gradually stir in milk & cook over moderate heat stirring constantly until thickened & boils Boil 2 min.
Remove from heat & stir in egg yolks. Put back on heat & boil 1 min. Remove from heat & stir in margarine & vanilla.
