4 cups | 948ml | Peeled, sliced apples |
1/4 cup | 49g / 1.7oz | To 1/3 c sugar |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Cinnamon |
Topping | ||
1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Rolled oats |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
1/2 cup | 31g / 1.1oz | Flour |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Cinnamon |
1/2 cup | 80g / 2.8oz | Brown sugar, firmly packed |
1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | (Stick) butter or margarine |
Combine apples, sugar and cinnamon (filling). Arrange in buttered baking dish. Topping preparation - Mix dry ingredients together. Add butter. Blend well with a fork. Spread on top of apple filling; press down lightly. Bake at 350F 30-40 minutes - until topping is brown and apples are tender when tested with a fork.
