1 cup | 237ml | Pecans |
12 | Dates - chopped fine | |
12 | Saltine crackers - broken | |
1 cup | 198g / 7oz | Sugar |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Baking powder |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Almond extract |
3 | Egg whites | |
8 oz | 227g | Whipping cream |
Mix together the pecans, dates, crackers, sugar, baking powder, and almond extract.
Beat egg whites until stiff (not dry). Fold mixture in.
Put in well buttered pie pan.
Cook 350F for 25 minutes.
Serve topped with whipped cream.
