Easy Cheesy Apple Pie Recipe - Cooking Index

1/4 cup | 15g / 0.5oz | Quick cooking rolled oats |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Sugar |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
1/3 cup | 78ml | Oil |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Milk |
Filling | ||
6 cups | 1422ml | Apples - peeled & sliced |
3 1/4 oz | 92g | Vanilla or coconut cream |
Pudding or pie mix - (not inst | ||
1/2 cup | 73g / 2.6oz | Shredded American cheese |
1/3 cup | 20g / 0.7oz | Flour |
1/3 cup | 65g / 2.3oz | Sugar |
1/4 cup | 15g / 0.5oz | Quick cooking rolled oats |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Margarine - softened |
Heat oven to 375F.
In a 9" pie pan, combine all crust ingredients and mix well.
Press crumbs in bottom and up sides of pie pan. Do not press onto rim.
In a large bowl ,combine apples and dry pudding mix; spoon into unbaked crust.
Sprinkle apples with cheese.
In same bowl, combine remaining ingredients until crumbly; sprinkle them over cheese. Bake at 375F for 40 - 50 minutes or until light golden brown and apples are tender.
Serve warm.
