Easy Cheesy Apple Pie

Recipe Ingredients

  Crust
1 cup 62g / 2.2ozFlour
1/4 cup 15g / 0.5ozQuick cooking rolled oats
1 1/2 teaspoons 7.5mlSugar
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlSalt
1/3 cup 78mlOil
1/4 cup 59mlMilk
  Filling
6 cups 1422mlApples - peeled & sliced
3 1/4 oz 92gVanilla or coconut cream
  Pudding or pie mix - (not inst
1/2 cup 73g / 2.6ozShredded American cheese
1/3 cup 20g / 0.7ozFlour
1/3 cup 65g / 2.3ozSugar
1/4 cup 15g / 0.5ozQuick cooking rolled oats
3 tablespoons 45mlMargarine - softened

Recipe Instructions

Heat oven to 375F.

In a 9" pie pan, combine all crust ingredients and mix well.

Press crumbs in bottom and up sides of pie pan. Do not press onto rim.

In a large bowl ,combine apples and dry pudding mix; spoon into unbaked crust.

Sprinkle apples with cheese.

In same bowl, combine remaining ingredients until crumbly; sprinkle them over cheese. Bake at 375F for 40 - 50 minutes or until light golden brown and apples are tender.

Serve warm.
