Easy Apple Cobbler Recipe - Cooking Index
5 cups | 1185ml | Apples |
3/4 cup | 148g / 5.2oz | Sugar |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Flour |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Ground cinnamon |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Water |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Vanilla |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Butter or margarine - softened |
1/2 cup | 31g / 1.1oz | Flour |
1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Sugar |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Baking powder |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Butter or margarine - softened |
1 | Egg - slightly beaten |
Combine the first 7 ingredients; mix gently.
Spoon into a lightly greased 9-inch square baking pan; dot with 1 tablespoon butter. Set aside.
Combine remaining ingredients; mix well.
Spoon over apple mixture in 9 equal portions (batter will spread during baking).
Bake at 375F for 35 to 40 minutes.
