Creole Pecan Pie Recipe - Cooking Index
3 | Eggs | |
1 cup | 160g / 5.6oz | Brown sugar - dark, firm packed |
1 cup | 328g / 11oz | Corn syrup - dark |
1 cup | 237ml | Pecans - broken |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Vanilla |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
1 | Pie shell - 9", unbaked |
1. Beat eggs and sugar together until thick.
2. Add corn syrup, pecans, vanilla and salt.
3. Mix well and pour into pie shell.
4. Bake in preheated 300F. oven about 1 hour, or until filling is firm.
