Creole Pecan Pie

Recipe Ingredients

3   Eggs
1 cup 160g / 5.6ozBrown sugar - dark, firm packed
1 cup 328g / 11ozCorn syrup - dark
1 cup 237mlPecans - broken
1 teaspoon 5mlVanilla
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlSalt
1   Pie shell - 9", unbaked

Recipe Instructions

1. Beat eggs and sugar together until thick.

2. Add corn syrup, pecans, vanilla and salt.

3. Mix well and pour into pie shell.

4. Bake in preheated 300F. oven about 1 hour, or until filling is firm.
