Creeping Crust Cobbler Recipe - Cooking Index
1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Margarine |
1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Flour |
1 cup | 198g / 7oz | Sugar |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Baking powder |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Milk |
2 cups | 125g / 4.4oz | Sliced peaches - or blackberries, cherries, etc. |
3/4 cup | 148g / 5.2oz | Sugar |
Melt margarine in 10-inch round baking dish.
Mix flour, sugar and baking powder. Add milk and mix.
Spoon over melted butter in dish.
Heat the peaches with sugar. Pour over dough.
Bake at 350F about 30 minutes until crust is golden brown.
Crust will rise to the top around the edges.
