Creamsicle Pie Recipe - Cooking Index
1 | Graham cracker crust | |
14 oz | 397g | Sweetened condensed milk |
4 | Egg yolks | |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Orange juice |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Grated orange rind |
3 oz | 85g | Softened cream cheese |
1/3 cup | 65g / 2.3oz | Powdered sugar |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Sour cream |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Vanilla extract |
Mix: Sweetened Condensed Milk, egg yolks, orange juice and grated orange rind (I used fresh). Pour into a graham cracker crust. (I use store bought)
Bake in a PREHEATED 325F oven for 35 minutes (like a typical cheesecake, check with a knife or toothpick).
Mix softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, sour cream, and vanilla extract together until smooth.
When pie is done, remove from oven and top the pie with the other mixture.
Return the pie to the oven and bake for 10 more minutes.
Cool. Serve chilled.
