Chocolate Chess Pie Recipe - Cooking Index
1 | Butter - softened | |
2 1/4 cups | 445g / 15oz | Sugar |
3 | Eggs | |
1/3 cup | 36g / 1.3oz | Cocoa |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Cornstarch |
1 | Carnation evap. Milk | |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Vanilla |
2 | Pie crusts - unbaked |
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs. Add other ingredients; mix well. Divide between 2 piecrusts.
Bake at 400F for 10 minutes. Lower oven temperature to 300F and bake for 25 more minutes, or until done.
Makes 2 pies.
