Buttermilk Pecan Pie Recipe - Cooking Index
| 1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Butter | 
| 2 cups | 396g / 13oz | Sugar | 
| 2 teaspoons | 10ml | Vanilla | 
| 3 | Eggs | |
| 3 tablespoons | 45ml | Flour | 
| 1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt | 
| 1 cup | 237ml | Buttermilk | 
| 1 | Pie shell - 9" unbaked | |
| 1/2 cup | 73g / 2.6oz | Pecans - chopped | 
Preheat oven to 300F.
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy, adding 1/2 cup sugar at a time.
Blend in vanilla. Add eggs, one at a time.
Combine flour and salt; add small amount at a time.
Add buttermilk. Sprinkle pecans in bottom of pie crust; pour custard mix over the pecans
Bake 1 hour 30 minutes at 300F. The top browns as it cooks.
Best served at room temperature.
