Brownie Pecan Pie Recipe - Cooking Index
2/3 cup | 131g / 4.6oz | Sugar |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Salt |
1 cup | 328g / 11oz | Light corn syrup |
4 oz | 113g | Sweet cooking chocolate |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Butter |
3 | Eggs - beaten | |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Vanilla |
1 cup | 237ml | Pecans |
1 | Unbaked pie shell |
Combine sugar, salt and syrup in saucepan.
Bring to a boil. Boil 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.
Stir in chocolate and butter and stir until melted and smooth.
Cool. Gradually beat chocolate mixture into beaten eggs, stirring constantly.
Mix well. Add vanilla and pecans. Pour into pie shell.
Bake at 350F for 50 minutes.
Cool. May serve with ice cream.
