1 cup | 198g / 7oz | Sugar |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Vanilla |
1 cup | 328g / 11oz | Dark corn syrup |
1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Pecans - coarsely chopped |
3 | Eggs | |
1 | Pie shell - unbaked | |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Butter - melted |
Combine sugar and corn syrup in a small saucepan; bring to a boil. Beat eggs at medium speed until blended. Gradually add hot sugar mixture to eggs, beating constantly. Stir in butter, vanilla and pecans. Pour mixture into pie shell; bake at 350F for 40 min.
