3 cups | 187g / 6.6oz | All-purpose flour - sifted |
3 teaspoons | 15ml | Baking powder |
1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Margarine - softened |
1 1/2 cups | 297g / 10oz | Sugar |
1 | Egg | |
1/3 cup | 78ml | Milk |
Topping | ||
1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Margarine - cold |
1/2 cup | 80g / 2.8oz | Brown sugar |
1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Granulated sugar |
1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | All-purpose flour - sifted |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Vanilla |
Cinnamon - to taste | ||
Apples |
Mix first six ingredients until soft dough forms. Dump into greased jelly roll pan.
With buttered hands spread until covers pan evenly. Peel and slice apples to cover dough. Use lots.
For topping: mix remaining ingredients and crumble on top. Bake at 350F for 45 minutes.
