Potato Kugel Recipe - Cooking Index
3 | Eggs | |
3 cups | 711ml | Grated, drained potatoes |
1/3 cup | 20g / 0.7oz | Potato flour |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Baking powder |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Salt |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Pepper |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Grated onion |
4 tablespoons | 60ml | Melted butter or fat |
Beat the eggs until thick. Stir in the potatoes, potato flour, baking powder, salt, pepper, onion and butter or fat.
Turn into a greased 1 1/2-quart baking dish or casserole. Bake in a 350 degree oven until browned, about 1 hour. Serve hot. Serves 6 to 8.
