Piroshki - Prune Filling Recipe - Cooking Index
1/4 cup | 59ml | Honey |
3/4 cup | 177ml | Orange juice |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Lemon juice |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Unsweetened pitted prunes |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Grated orange rind |
Cook the honey, orange juice and lemon juice for 5 minutes. Add prunes and cook over low heat 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Drain and chop the prunes. Add the orange rind. Cool before filling squares.
