Shells With Creamy Wine Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
| 1 1/4 cups | 296ml | Medium seashell macaroni - uncooked | 
| 1/4 cup | 15g / 0.5oz | Minced onion | 
| 1/4 cup | 59ml | Water | 
| 1/4 cup | 59ml | Chablis or other dry white wine | 
| 1/4 cup | 36g / 1.3oz | Neufchatel cheese with herbs and spices | 
| Ground pepper | ||
| Vegetable cooking spray | 
Cook pasta according to package directions, omitting the salt and fat. Drain cooked pasta, and set aside.
Coat a saucepan with cooking spray, and place over medium heat until hot. Add onion; saute 2 minutes or until tender. Add water and wine, and cook 1 minute. Add cheese, and cook 1 minute or until well blended, stirring with a wire whisk. Add pasta, tossing gently to coat. Cook 1 minute or until thoroughly heated, stirring constantly. Sprinkle with pepper. Yield: 2 servings (serving size: 1 cup).
