6 | Large Granny Smith apples, peeled & sliced | |
2/3 cup | 132g / 4.7oz | Sugar |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Cinnamon |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Vanilla |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Lemon juice |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Nutmeg |
Pinch of salt | ||
Streusel Topping | ||
2/3 cup | 132g / 4.7oz | White sugar |
1/2 cup | 80g / 2.8oz | Brown sugar |
2/3 cup | 41g / 1.4oz | Flour |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Cinnamon |
2 | Sticks cold butter |
Combine apples, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, lemon juice, nutmeg, and salt in a large bowl. Spray a 9x13" baking dish with non-stick spray and fill with apple mixture.
Combine the sugars, flour and cinnamonand cut in the butter until mixture is crumbly. Top cobbler with Streusel mix. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Serve hot. (Excellent with vanilla ice cream on the side or top!)
