2 cups | 474ml | Fresh basil - firmly packed |
1 cup | 237ml | Extra virgin olive oil |
1/2 cup | 73g / 2.6oz | Parmesan cheese |
4 | Garlic | |
1/4 cup | 23g / 0.8oz | Pine nuts - or almonds, pinon nu |
1 | Salt - optional |
Place basil in a blender. Blender speed should be in liquify or high. While the blender is on, slowly add oil until basil and oil are well emulsified. Add remaining ingredients and process.
