Braised Kikko-Chicken Recipe - Cooking Index
3 lbs | 1362g / 48oz | Frying chicken pieces |
1/4 cup | 15g / 0.5oz | Flour |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Vegetable oil |
2 | Celery stalks - chunked | |
2 | Carrots - chunked | |
1 | Onion - chunked (medium) | |
1/3 cup | 78ml | Kikkoman soy sauce |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Oregano - crumbled |
Coat chicken with flour and brown in hot oil; remove. Saute celery, carrots and onion in same pan 2 minutes. Combine soy sauce and oregano with 1 cup water; add to pan with chicken. Cover and simmer 45 minutes, or until chicken is tender.
