Peasant-Style Spaghetti Recipe - Cooking Index
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Minced garlic |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Tomatoes - peeled & chopped |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Oil |
5 oz | 142g | Prosciutto - minced |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Black pepper |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Ground oregano |
12 oz | 340g | Spaghetti - cooked & drained |
Chopped parsley | ||
Grated parmesan cheese |
Saute garlic and tomatoes in hot oil in skillet until tender, about 5 minutes. Add prosciutto, pepper and oregano. Reduce heat and simmer until ingredients are blended, about 2 to 3 minutes. Toss with spaghetti and sprinkle with parsley. Serve with Parmesan cheese.
