Knishes - Potato Filling Recipe - Cooking Index
1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Chopped onions |
6 tablespoons | 90ml | Chicken fat or butter |
2 cups | 474ml | Mashed potatoes |
1 | Egg | |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Pepper |
Brown the onions in the fat or butter. Beat in the potatoes, egg, salt and pepper until fluffy. Place on dough.
