1 cup 62g / 2.2ozMinced onions
1/3 cup 20g / 0.7ozChicken fat
2 cups 474mlCooked kasha - see * Note
3 cups 711mlCooked broad noodles - drained
1 1/2 teaspoons 7.5mlSalt
1/4 teaspoon 1.3mlPepper

Recipe Instructions

* Note: The recipe for "Kasha" is included in this database.

Brown the onions in the fat. Combine with the kasha, noodles, salt and pepper. If you have any 'grebenes' (the recipe for "Rendered Fat And Grebenes" is included in this database), add some. Toss until well mixed. Serve hot. Serves 6.
