Hot Sauerkraut

Recipe Ingredients

2 tablespoons 30mlFat or butter
3/4 cup 46g / 1.6ozDiced onions
1 1/2 lbs 681g / 24ozSauerkraut - drained
1/4 teaspoon 1.3mlPepper
2 teaspoons 10mlPaprika
1 teaspoon 5mlSugar
1/2 cup 118mlWater

Recipe Instructions

Melt the fat in a saucepan and brown the onions lightly. Add the sauerkraut, pepper, paprika, sugar and water. Cover loosely and cook over low heat 1 hour. Serves 4 to 6.
