Basil Tomato Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
2 lbs | 908g / 32oz | Fresh tomatoes - seeded and chopped |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Olive oil |
1 | Onion - chopped | |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Basil - fresh |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Thyme |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Parsley - minced |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Parmesan cheese |
Saute onions and garlic in oil. Add tomatoes, basil, thyme, parsley and Parmesan. Simmer for 15 minutes. Process to make a smooth sauce.
