All-Dressed Spaghetti Recipe - Cooking Index
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Vegetable oil |
1 | Onion - chopped | |
1 1/4 cups | 296ml | Mushrooms - sliced |
1 cup | 237ml | Pepperoni - sliced |
1 | Sweet green pepper - chopped | |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Dried oregano |
14 oz | 397g | Canned tomato sauce |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Pepper |
3/4 lb | 340g / 11oz | Spaghetti |
In skillet, heat oil over medium heat; cook onion, mushrooms, pepperoni, green pepper and oregano, stirring often, for 5 minutes or until onion is softened.
Add tomato sauce, salt and pepper; cook for 3 minutes or until boiling.
Meanwhile, in large pot of boiling salted water, cook spaghetti for 8-10 minutes or until tender but firm. Drain well and return to pot.
Add sauce, toss to coat well.
