Alfredo Sauce (Lowfat) Recipe - Cooking Index
1 cup | 237ml | Skimmed milk |
1/2 cup | 73g / 2.6oz | Lowfat cottage cheese |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Cornstarch |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Pepper |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Garlic powder |
1/2 cup | 73g / 2.6oz | Parmesan cheese |
Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Pour mixture into a small saucepan and cook over medium heat until heated through and smooth, stirring occasionally. Serve with hot, cooked fettucini.
