Willingham's All-Purpose Marinade Recipe - Cooking Index
1 cup | 237ml | Cider vinegar |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Orange juice - freshly squeezed |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Lemon juice - freshly squeezed |
2 | Lemon peel - up to 3 | |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Brown sugar - packed |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Lemon pepper |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Black pepper - freshly ground |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Tabasco sauce |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Garlic powder |
In a glass or ceramic bowl, combine all the ingredients. Use immediately or keep in a tightly covered glass jar for several days in the refrigerator.
Editor's note: The addition of half a can of cola, ginger-ale, Dr. Pepper or beer to the meat being marinated will improve the taste and flavor of this marinade.
