1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Prunes |
4 cups | 948ml | Boiling water |
1 cup | 237ml | Farfel |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Lemon juice |
1/3 cup | 78ml | Honey |
4 tablespoons | 60ml | Butter |
Wash the prunes and soak in the water for 1 hour. Bring to a boil and add the farfel, salt, lemon juice, honey and butter.
Place mixture in baking dish. Cover and bake in a 375 degree oven 45 minutes, removing the cover for the last 15 minutes. Serves 6.
