| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Dry sherry |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Hoisin sauce |
| 1/2 tablespoon | 7.5ml | Cider vinegar |
| 1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Sugar |
| 2 teaspoons | 10ml | Cornstarch |
| 1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Black pepper |
| 1/3 cup | 78ml | Chicken broth or cold |
| Water |
Marinade -- combine all ingredients in a small bowl and mix well.
Sauce -- combine all ingredients in a small bowl and mix well.
