Honey-Hoisin Marinade Recipe - Cooking Index
1/4 cup | 59ml | Soy sauce - low-sodium |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Hoisin sauce |
1/3 cup | 78ml | Honey - oriental or dark |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Tomato sauce |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Sherry - dry |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Rice wine vinegar |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Five spice powder |
2 | Garlic cloves - minced or pressed | |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Ginger root - grated fresh |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Chilies - red, dried and (small) crumbled (seeds removed for less heat) |
Combine all the ingredients in a non-reactive bowl or blender.
