Basic Beef Marinade

Recipe Ingredients

1/4 cup 59mlSherry vinegar or red wine vinegar
1/2 cup 118mlDry red wine
2 tablespoons 30mlSoy sauce
1 tablespoon 15mlWorcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon 5mlSugar
1/2 cup 118mlOlive oil
2   Garlic - sliced
2 tablespoons 30mlParsley - fresh, chopped
2 tablespoons 30mlFresh herb combo: rosemary - tarragon, thyme
1/8 teaspoon 0.6mlBlack pepper to taste

Recipe Instructions

Combine the vinegar, wine, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and sugar in a non-reactive mixing bowl. Whisk in olive oil a little at a time. Add the pepper, parsley and herbs.

For beef steaks marinate for 6 to 8 hours. For roasts, 10 to 12 hours.
