Candied Sweet Potatoes Recipe - Cooking Index

1/4 cup | 49g / 1.7oz | Butter or fat |
1/2 cup | 164g / 5.8oz | Dark corn syrup |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Orange juice |
1/4 cup | 40g / 1.4oz | Brown sugar |
Cook the unpeeled potatoes in boiling water for 15 minutes. Peel and cut in half lengthwise. Heat the butter or fat in a baking dish and add the corn syrup, orange juice, sugar and sweet potatoes.
Bake in a 350 degree oven 45 minutes or until tender, basting frequently. Serves 6 to 8.
