Teekhi Tarkari (Zucchini With Whole Green Peppercorns) Recipe - Cooking Index
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Olive oil |
4 tablespoons | 60ml | Zucchini - trimmed and sliced (medium) into rounds |
1 | Fresh hot green chili - seeded and chopped | |
2 | Garlic cloves - sliced | |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Whole green peppercorns |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Ground black pepper |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
1/2 | Lemon - juice of |
Heat the oil in a large skillet and add the zucchini slices. Reduce the heat, add the green chili and garlic, and stir. Add the peppercorns, pepper, salt, and lemon juice, and saute on a low flame for 10 minutes. Then cover the pan and cook 2 minutes more.
