| 1 | Chicken - skinned and cut into 8 pieces | |
| Marinate in salt and lemon juice | ||
| 1 cup | 237ml | Yogurt |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Ginger paste |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Garlic paste |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Oil |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Lemon juice |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Cumin powder |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Coriander powder |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Garam masala |
| Red chilli powder to taste | ||
| Red food coloring - (optional) |
Marinate chicken pieces in the above ingredients.
Barbecue. This chicken can be cooked under the grill or in the oven.
Baste with a little oil to give it a shine.
But the best flavour comes from barbecuing.
