Blintzes - Cheese Filling Recipe - Cooking Index
2 cups | 292g / 10oz | Drained cottage cheese |
1 | Egg yolk | |
3/4 teaspoon | 3.8ml | Salt |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Melted butter |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Sugar - (optional) |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Lemon juice - (optional) |
Beat the cheese, egg yolk, salt and butter together. Add the sugar or lemon juice if you like -- some people like them sweet, some don't. Fill pancakes.
