1/4 cup | 59ml | Vegetable oil |
3/4 teaspoon | 3.8ml | Cumin seeds |
3/4 teaspoon | 3.8ml | Yellow mustard seeds |
5 | Garlic - finely chopped | |
1 1/2 | Fresh ginger root - cut into fine shreds | |
1 1/2 lbs | 681g / 24oz | Cauliflower florets |
2 | Fresh hot green chilies | |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
Fresh ground black pepper | ||
3/4 teaspoon | 3.8ml | Garam masala |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Chili powder - or to taste |
Put oil in wok and set on highish heat. When hot put in cumin and mustard seeds. Ads soon as mustard seeds begin to pop, a few seconds, put in galic, ginger, cauliflower and green chilies.
Stir-fry 5-7 minutes or until cauliflower has turned somewhat brown.
Now put in salt black pepper, garam masala and chili powder; mix. Put in 4 tablespoons water and cover wok immediately.
Cook for 2 minutes and serve.
