Baked Sweet Lima Beans Recipe - Cooking Index
1 1/2 cups | 240g / 8.5oz | Dried lima beans |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Salt |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Butter or fat |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Honey |
Soak the beans overnight in water to cover. Drain. Add fresh water to cover. Cover and bring to a boil; cook over low heat 1 1/2 hours, adding salt after 1 hour of cooking. Drain. Combine the beans, butter or fat and honey in a baking dish. Bake in a 350 degree oven 1 hour, stirring frequently.
